Why should we delete cookies regularly?

Browsers keep cookies until they expire, which could be when you log out of an account, or for years, as is the case for tracking cookies.

you dont have to delete cookies if your windows account is well protected with a password, so no one else will get into your browser habits. Now if your account is open and you need to protect your privacy then you have to delete all info (cookies, cache..) related to your online experience.
